Cookies and cheer

A few days ago, we put out a call on Facebook and Twitter, asking our friends if anyone had some excess corporate holiday gifts sitting around their office in need of a good home.

We heard from an anonymous #lovelansing-ite who was more than happy to share two dozen, individually wrapped gourmet cookies.

We packed them in bundles of four in six holiday bags and set about dropping them off around town.

Several went to Sparrow Hospital and the attached cancer center. Some were left at check-in desks, some in elevators.

Another was left on the handle of the front door of the Ronald McDonald House. More were left in other elevators or door handles around downtown Lansing.

Happy everything to everyone! And thanks to our anonymous friend for the mission fuel!
