Guest ninja mission: Cute dog FTW!

We love quick missions. They don’t take tons of planning, just a feeling of wanting to do something small and good. It’s as easy as purchasing a gift card and looking for the right opportunity to pass it along. In fact, we have a few Biggby cards sitting in our cars right now, awaiting recipients.

So when this guest ninja sent along a recent mission, we got inspired to find homes for ours too. Thanks, guest ninja!

Here is the mission:

After hearing the reports of anonymous people making payments on layaway accounts, I set out with a renewed ninja spirit!

After doing a little holiday shopping at the Target on Edgewood Boulevard, I walked by a car with a dog seated in the driver’s seat. The furball made me smile, and that’s when I decided I’d found my next “victim.”

I simply left the driver a $10 gift card to Biggby with a quick note I jotted on a Post-It.

It was a close call, however, because as I was pulling out of the parking lot, the owner of the car arrived to find the surprise.

Nice work, guest ninja! Hope the holiday spirit moves everyone to do a little random act of kindness this week. Have you seen how stressed out some people are? A little kindness can go a long way — especially this time of year.
