It’s a dreary morning in March and the clouds hang low, like plush grey towels covering the expanse of the Lansing sky. After enjoying some glorious sunshine yesterday (and a paczki, or two) I’m just a little bummed to find that today will be different. There is no sunshine. Not even a glimpse of blue sky …
But on a day like today, I’m reminded of why we do what we do, us Ninjas. We aim to bring that little bit of blue sky on a dreary day like today, to remind the world that grey days can happen, but that doesn’t stop kindness from happening.
An act of kindness makes me feel as warm and fuzzy as a ray of sunshine hitting my face. Never forget you have the ability to brighten someone’s day. We, every one of us, can be that sunshine for someone when not even a glimpse of blue sky is showing.
Be kind today, and maybe the blue sky will smile at us all soon. 🙂 Happy almost-spring!
