Ninja #1: Goodwill mission

Some Christmas cheer at the Goodwill store in West Lansing

On a recent shopping trip, I loaded up my ninja toolkit with some cheery holiday goodies, so I thought I’d complete a mission later that day to lighten my load by one ornament.

I visited the parking lot of the Goodwill Emporium in West Lansing, where I spied a car packed with well-loved stuffed animals and a colorful lei hanging around the rearview mirror.

I left a ninja calling card and an “ornament” full of Smarties on the windshield wiper. Hopefully the kids who belong to those stuffed animals were happy to find a surprise treat when they finished their shopping.
